Do you have aspects of your life that aren’t balanced? Too much anxiety or stress, habits that you seem to have no control over, repetitive behaviour or simply very little willpower to make things change? Hypnotherapy may be the right therapy for you.
Consider this: Have you ever driven somewhere and after arriving thought to yourself I don’t remember the journey here! Did I stop at the traffic lights, I can’t remember even seeing them! Well, if you have, then you have already experienced a natural form of hypnosis. Natural hypnosis happens to us all every day, it just goes unnoticed e.g. watching a gripping movie or your favourite TV programme, becoming totally engrossed in a book, or even being entranced by a beautiful sunset –Hypnosis is a relaxed dream state that we experience every night as we drift off to sleep.
I feel it is important that every client must be relaxed and at ease with their Therapists so offer a free initial consultation to discuss more depth, which also allows the opportunity to explain how the sessions are conducted. During this consultation, any other questions can be answered. This can be conducted over the phone, Zoom or face to face.
During the Hypnotherapy sessions, you will experience a deep state of relaxation and calmness – a state that you can come out of at any time you wish, almost like breaking yourself from a daydream.
The aim of hypnotherapy is to bring about change to YOU and remove the barriers that have been created due to experiences in your life.
Before I became a hypnotherapist, I probably had the same misapprehensions as most people about hypnosis and hypnotherapy. I discovered that it really is a form of altered consciousness and that stage hypnotism is very misleading and is completely different from hypnotherapy. You usually remember everything that I say. I gave up my 20 a day cigarette habit and improved my self-worth / confidence through hypnotherapy many years ago. I have improved many people’s lives over the years.
Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with:
- Alcohol abuse
- Anger management
- Anxiety and GAD
- Body & Mind Map – 4 Sessions (Up to 60 minutes each)
- Eating disorders / food addiction
- Exam stress/nervers
- Fear of flying
- Grief / Loss

- Low Self-esteem
